Dr John Furler

John Furler is a Senior Research Fellow based at the Department of General Practice at the University of Melbourne. His research interest is in how primary care doctors and health professionals can effectively respond to and address the social inequity and disadvantage that lies behind much of the chronic illness that they see in practice. He has primarily pursued this through a range of research projects around diabetes. He is a part time GP at North Richmond Community Health in Melbourne.
